NCCC MWR Events
COM is a member of the National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC). As a member we are in the Midwest Region (MWR). Other clubs also host Rallyes, Concours Events and Autocross Events. Many of our member travel and run in the MWR points series by attending any number of these events in our region.
PLEASE NOTE
For 2023, our NCCC insurance allows hybrids but not EVs at our autocross events. Check with the eventmaster for possible changes to this restriction.
PLEASE NOTE
Non-NCCC members are not covered by NCCC insurance. This includes all of our COM events. Become a member and be covered at any of our local, regional and national NCCC events.
COM Cruises
This year COM will be hosting two cruises. These are open to Club members and others, and no restrictions on the make of vehicles. Each will start near a McDonald’s, include interesting stops, and end at a bar/restaurant near the starting location. Routes will be roughly 100-120 miles, and each will last about 4 hours, including the stops at destinations along the way. We are asking for a $5 per car donation to cover costs of route set-up and printing. Participants will sign waivers and get Route Directions at the start. These are Cruises/Caravans, and are not competitive events. Flyers for each will be posted below.

COM Summer Cruise - Saturday, July 29
July 29, 2023 – Saturday
Corvettes of Minnesota’s Summer Cruise will be on Saturday, July 29.
Register and sign waivers at 8:30 am at the lot outside McDonald’s at 90 Lake Drive E, Chanhassen (south side of Hwy 5, just west of the Hwy 5-Hwy 212 split). We’re asking for a $5 donation per vehicle to offset costs of set-up and printing. This is a cruise/caravan, and not a competitive event. Drivers/Participants meeting at 8:45, and departure at 9:00 am. A very short drive will take us to the Chanhassen Autoplex Garages, with over 100 condo garages for exotic, collector, and race cars. Next will be a beautiful drive along the north shore of Lake Minnetonka, passing through Wayzata, Minnetonka, Navarre (with a brief Rest Stop at a Culver’s), Spring Park, Mound, and Minnetrista. COM Fall Color Cruise - Saturday, October 7

We’ll visit Minnesota’s Largest Candy Store (and so much more), and an orchard near Jordan, Minnesota. The store simply defies adequate description, but let’s say thousands of candies, hundreds of soft drink brands, fresh produce and baked goods, music, and lots of other items from your childhood. Meet at 8:30am to sign waivers and get Directions near the McDonald’s just SE of Canterbury Park (3990 12th Ave. E, Shakopee, west side of Canterbury Rd. just north of Hwy 169). We’ll cruise to Jordan and visit the candy store and an orchard, and then caravan back to the Muddy Cow (1244 Canterbury Rd., Shakopee), a block from the starting point. Muddy Cow features all the typical sports bar aps and sandwiches plus meals, and always has pizza and beer “Two for One” priced.
